An herb with narrow, pointed, gray-green leaves with a distinctive anise or licorice flavor. Only the leaves are edible. Fresh Tarragon, are steeped in vinegar to produce tarragon vinegar.
In Azerbaijan, Armenian, Georgia, Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan,Tarragon is used to flavor a popular carbonated soft drink called  "Tarhun.
